This morning I played golf at my local course at Barden Ridge. My regular partners are a guy who is from Leeds and I would term him a Leeds United “tragic”, and another guy who is not from Liverpool but is an ardent supporter of them.

We had another player with us this morning, who I haven’t seen before. After working in London for 18 months many years ago, I can recognise London accents. The conversation got around to Premier League and this guy mentioned Ange. I said, Thomas are you a Spurs Supporter, and he said yes. I smiled, and he twigged I support Arsenal.

We got on ok, and I’ve just found out on the golf club website that we ended up winning the Pairs event of the day.

Bit of a head shaker.
