Soccer The Gunners Super Thread

Finally Arsenal fans have posted something in this topic lol

In true Arsenal fashion, I’m positive they have no idea who their next manager is going to be.

A big name manager will probably also want a large cheque book, which ownership will balk at. So I’m guessing, we’ll probably end up with somebody like Vieira, which is the EPL equivalent of Dean Pay.

FUCK YEAH! We might actually spend money on real players next season.

I have to start watching games again...

It's a real mixed bag. Wenger had to go. If he stayed we could never start the rebuild we sorely need. But it will cost us.

So many young, good players were taking pay cuts to play under Wenger. We're going to lose any chance of landing young talent now and we'll have to pay more for any current stars as we don't have the draw of playing under Asene Wenger.

If we land a if name manager maybe the talent will come?

Brendan Rodgers or Rafa Benitez as your next coach :grinning:

Ancelotti or Enriques is what you guys need. No time for a rookie or Rodgers

Talent is not free. Wenger simply did not have money to spend after 2002, first, because of the drain of the new stadium, then because Kroenke ran the club like a Je........,like a miser.

If anybody thinks this will change under a new manager, you are in for a rude shock.

The only thing that changed was that Wenger’s scouting network was gradually broken up and his eye for talent started to diminish, partly thanks to the incompetence of Ivan Gazidis, who must be the most incompetent Chairman in The EPL.

Hurts every time I see Sanchez in a Manure jersey.

Wenger's player mismanagement will be a defining part of his legacy.

London derby was a great game. Well deserved win to Arsenal

I didn't want to bump this thread so not to jinx us lol

PS I'm confident we will beat ManUre next

Nothing better waking up and having a north London derby win... up the mighty gunners. To prove we are top 4 we need to win against Man U

Good luck against Man Ure. Hope you smash them!
