No one is arguing we have a good team, the is the weakest team we have rolled out in over 20 years. If india can't break it's pathetic duck egg in australia against this mob, they never will.

They actually did pretty well to draw the first test considering the side has been unnecessarily decimated and its two best two batsmen were missing.....But I don't hear Australian fans claiming to be world number one right now. The reality is India made it to number one by default after playing 200 home games, interspersed with away games in familiar sub continent conditions and against the West Indies. India is not a legit number one side.

PS Pakistan is ranked 6th and is no easy beat at home.

The average first innings score with the drop in pitch here is 330 odd. No doubt the day/night games played may have brought the average down a bit
