We need the legend back. Our forwards have been impressive but our mongrel is missing. We need to concentrate on our backs. He could be a mentor to the young blokes, Barbar (a new clone) Groom, Roberts, Holdsworth in the way Fittler has turned Easts around. He had a terrible time at Wests/Tigers but he is a true bulldog and is still in touch with the players.

Lamb is a legend but coaching is not his thing, just ask any Tiger fans.

no just any tigers fans

ask any cabramatta fans... no offence to lamb but he was a terrible coach

the only coaching success he had was in 2000 with our reserve grade team when shifty, anasta, khoury, mason and el masri were killing it

A greeat player but not a FG coach in my eyes. Although he may of won some reserve grades titles for the dogs a couple years back, wouldnt be right after what happened at the tigers.

He was bad at Wests and not doing that flash of a job with NSW Cup at the moment.

im pretty sure he was or could be his cousins?

our backline in 2000 consisted of Silva, Lester, Marteene, Talau, Halligan

but it was always a shame that both lester and Silva were too injury proned that year

i wouldnt mind for him to get like a 4 year gig where he can put the bulldog back into the bulldogs , to be honest we dont really need the most skilled coach our team is full of individual brillance all we need is a bloke who can make the boys play together as a unit.

lol no.. worst idea ever.

I'm sick of this keep it in the dogs family business. Can we please just sign the best coach available instead of judging people based on their previous association with our club.

the guys one of the most skillful tricky blokes to ever play the game...he's the one that should be working with our halves

Give Moore the job with Lamb in some kind of assistant role...

You know, i would love Steven Kearney as our next coach, and when i first read the title of this thread i thought "you have got to be kidding", but after thinking about it, Terry Lamb wouldnt be a bad idea, yeah his stint at the tigers was awful, but he would have learnt from that, and his next crack at coaching (with a club he truely loves) would be much better.

So, yeh, Lamb for coach, IMO, would;nt be too bad.
