No

This is the reason they are up there.

View attachment 15386 x heaps of them.
Listened to the Big Sports Breakfast this morning and Dean Ritchie must be on the Roosters payroll. Says he is sick and tired of all the innuendos regarding the club, that everyone is jealous of the Roosters, that they are under the cap as they got rid of Cronk and Mitchell and only have one player on really decent coin in Tedesco.

I hope Parra belt the rorters into the ground, I think their the only team capable and I'm tipping them to show who should be favourites for this years title.
In a big match with both teams at full strength, the Roosters would destroy the Eels. Canberra & Melbourne are a bigger threat
The Eels should have be beaten by Manly. A shit call cost them. Penrith led 10-0 & shat themselves.

You have to consider what the Roosters have that other teams don't when you talk about their players being the best
- Coaching staff - pretty sure each player has their own coach and trainer. On top of that, Roosters assistant coaches are probably first grade coach material lol.
- Facilities and training - pretty sure they go away on overseas trips for the purpose of training and learning shit off sports regimes like NFL etc.
- Systematic success - the system in Roosters is built for success, they can literally plug any player into a position and he will be a cog in a wheel. The thing about the Roosters that makes them exceptional is the player they recruit is usually a rep player. Look at those that have left and how its impacted them, compared to those who have come on.

I mention this because end of the day it's easier to play football at the Roosters compared to other clubs. Look at how well BMoz is going? He was atrocious for us, always injured. Now he's killing it - why? Their rehab and recovery program is obviously more superior, he would be on an individual plan based on what he needs as opposed to a team program, AND he has great players around him that makes his job simplified and easy. BMoz ran down someone the other week - cant remember who - but I never saw him run that quick for us without pulling a hammy lol. You could also say the same for JMoz.
The pricks never get injuries. Pretty much run out with their 1st-choice team every fucking week. Want to see how they go with a few season ending injuries to 2 or 3 stars.

Ask yourself why? They put so much into their rehab, the players prep into a game, dietary requirements etc. All I am saying is it isn't a fluke. It's what they do. Look at Melbourne as well - they rarely had any major injuries to their big 3 - aside from Slaters shoulder.

Perfect example last week when our game got postponed - roosters had a captains run on the sunday. Dogs probably hung out at home and went out for dinner lol

Tedesco is probably the best player in the game.

Looking at the Roosters performance over us on Monday night it was pretty clear that money wins premierships.

Look at the players in that team who were purchased once they were already big established names.

1. James Tedesco
3. Josh Morris
5. Brett Morris
6. Luke Keary
12. Angus Chricton

Also keep in mind that Keary is only the player he is because he spent last year learning under Cooper Cronk while at the Roosters.

Having said that, the Roosters are 100% reliant on Keary being fit and available. If he gets injured around finals time they don't stand a chance.
Morris twins are at the end of their careers and were cheap. We told both we didn't want them.

Keary was coming off the bench at Souths and was terrible his last year or 2 there.

Teddy agreed to come to the Bulldogs if we signed Mitchell Moses also but Des said no and gave Foran $1 million a season instead :/

Nice spin - you should get a government job.

Morris twins are international and state of origin reps who were floundering due to the clubs they were at (i.e. ours which was run into the ground by Hasler and then Josh at the Sharks while they fell apart).

Keary had already proven himself and was then allowed to spend a year learning from Cooper Cronk who was also poached by the Roosters (we are told with above board salary cap payments) but who knows other side deals were cut.

Tedesco was probably the best fullback in the game already when he came across and most league commentators agreed at that point in time that if he wasn't already the best fullback in the game, he was already on his way to becoming it.

Lol who is putting the spin?

Keary was an average first grader at Souths.

Teddy was not the best fullback in the world when he signed with the Roosters. He had played a total of 1 Origin game by then. Slater and RTS were way ahead of him.

RTS has been inconsistent and generally average since he left the roosters in 2015.

Tedesco went ahead of him before even leaving the Tigers.

Keary was not an 'average' first grader - he played in the premiership winning team in 2014. He wasn't the worlds best player, but Uncle Nicks money made sure he was mentored by Cronk for a year.

As for Slater, in 2018 he had a great year but you have to consider the two teams they were both playing for. Slater playing in the Storm team versus Tedesco pushing up hill in a shithouse Tigers team.

Everyone knew Tedesco was well on his way.

The point is the Roosters success is the direct result of a recruitment strategy where they go after established players and then reap the rewards.

Meanwhile teams like the tigers are constantly held back because they can't offer the third party deals the Roosters can or the access to 'life after footy' AKA payments which conveniently avoid the salary cap.

WTF are you talking about? RTS won the Dally M award in 2018.

Wow, Keary played in a premiership winning team. So did Chad Townsend and he is average also. At no point in his Souths career was Keary playing anywhere near as good as he has at the Roosters. No one even cared when he signed with the Roosters.

Bitching about the salary cap is loser talk. I don't care what any team pays their players.

Too right and you can add those two Roosters great Graham Hughes andPeter Tunks because they practically said the same thing earlier this week and late last week.

What more does he need to do? People say hes only good cause he's in a great side yet he performs better than nearly everybody in rep games too. Wouldn't call it arrogant, arrogant would be having a mentality that he doesn't need to get any better anymore
