Opinion Taffee and Salmon

Where do you think they will be playing?

Taffee at #1?

Salmon coming off the bench at either #12, #13 or #9?

I cannot see both players sitting on the bench

At this rate with our current lot I'd have Salmon on edge and move Preston to lock as none of our other middle forwards can tackle... but Ideally I'd want him on the bench.

Taaffe I would have at FB because I think we need Crichton at CTW. Not sure about a Burns and Xerri combo.

Pretty depressing when you think about it haha.

Crighton is pretty much the best defensive centre in the game.. I think he will be a centre for us and maybe a backup fullback for Taffe

It's a motivation thing. They aren't motivated and none of them, except Preston, are on top of their game.

Taffe at 5/8, the bloke is a half for goodness sakes. He can play FB but he's a half.
Salmon at 13, lets be real Sutton isn't it for a NRL standard 13 consistently. Rather him off the bench.

Thompson has always been a shirt grabber. Kikau must've got a rocket up his arse during halftime for his efforts.

I think they've all but given up, moral is at all time low. It's the coaches job to weed out these players that are giving up.

I don't get why people think otherwise. He didn't leave the Panthers to play centre & we aren't paying him 800k a season to play centre.

I don't think it's definite that both are in the 17. Salmon will likely be a bench player. Taaffe won't be in the starting team as Critta will get first shot at fullback.

Unless we carry two bench utilities (unwise considering how average our pack is), then Taaffe may start the year in Reserves at fullback.
