Skelton is a newbie so can be forgiven. No point having a go at him hes only a backup at this time and will learn.

Skeleton all the best in your new jerseys next year, otherwise just another NSW cup player like Paul Alomoti Okunbour

Two major errors. Nobody else has done that. Such a shame Wilson wasn’t available.

He should have held his width on the sideline and they don’t score. He should have taken the outside line again when he had the ball and he scored.

We put a lot of time and money into him and once he gets a contract outside of us he plays like this. Just disgusting form
You guys seriously think that with Crichton out manly weren’t going to attack Skelton? Comon guys seibold is smarter then that. We needed this loss.only problem is Burton is out next week so we might lose again.we may have peaked too early

"Only a backup player"? Funny, half the forum was lining up to dump international/Rep player JAC for him a month ago, before he signed with the Tigpies, now we shouldn't be hard on him because he's a "newbie"?

Burton still can play next week if he passes tests through the week, he was only classed as a category 2 concussion.

My issue wasn’t the bombed tries. It was the laziness lack of effort was jogging all game even in his runs. He’s checked out. Wilson would of scored a couple in his position tonight

He tried when he was still with us

I'm starting to understand why our coaching team let him go, despite his obvious efforts in previous games, the moment he's no longer with us he looked like he didn't care at all. Will fit in at the Tigers perfectly tbh

He was the least of our problems tonight
So, what was he in the side for, again? It CERTAINLY wasn't for his defensive reads, positional play, or footwork. Everyone was ranting about how HARD he ran/post-contact metres, etc. Tonight he moved about as fast as a dole-bludger who'd been asked to pick up a shovel!

To be fair every other single NRL game he played with us he performed very very well even in 2023 in one of the our worst teams, my guess is he was fighting for a FG spot. But this is a sign of a player with a massively bad attitude, the moment they think there's nothing to play for in the current team they essentially just clock off.

He was one of our best against the Roosters the second time when we got smacked, but defensively he has always needed work

Seems to have completely lost his balance. Earlier this year he was breaking tackles for fun, now an off balance tap and he falls in a heap. Not sure what’s up.
