He was in the top 10 on the dally m leaderboard in 2012, had a great season in 2014, created plenty for us with his niggle and constant effort plays, won us countless games.... and nobody gets picked for origin if they can't play footy. He didn't just play origin, he played in a winning series. No team could dream of beating that Queensland team if their halves weren't doing a good job.

I know he also had plenty of brain explosions and was a bit of a rocks or diamonds type player....far from a perfect and frustrating at times. But to suggest he is the worst 6 that has ever played for us is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever read on here. And I've read my own troll posts. Lol

Yep, he wasn't perfect, but I loved his passion and effort and regardless of what the haters say, it regularly produced results. People on here loved to bag him.....but our fortunes really went downhill after we let players like him, Graham and Ennis go.... all three players were much maligned during their time at the club.

Sometimes you are the only one seen getting things wrong if you're the only one still trying. All three mentioned fit that category.

Mate, James Pickering was potentially a great player.

His career was robbed by injury (repeated broken arm)

It was such a disappointment as he had it all.

Bullfrog claimed him to be the best prop in the world at the time of his signing.

He was definitely a talent.. just never lived up to the hype and that name.. well it deserves to be on any list.

What about his body shape though? First 5 years with us he had a bit of toe, nice footwork, could run a line. They’ve built him up to a point where he’s so stocky that he’s lost all of those traits over the past 5 years.

Youngquest was extremely considered but his ability to make the team look extremely beautiful won his way out of the line-up.

Other considerables were blokes like Michael Sullivan in the halves and the Whippet doing absolute fcuk all on the wing.
