When I look back on the Simpsons. Seasons 1-6 are the best and it slowly deteriorated after that.

I guess the Simpsons moved with the times?
In the earlier seasons it seemed to target adult audiences?

Now it seems like they just trying to copy family guy.

Personally, I think there was still quality up until around season 12, then they ran out of ideas and basically jumped the shark and it was surpassed by the likes of family guy
