Also shows how powerful Gus is persuading him to join. To all those saying Gus wasn’t involved in recruitment lol

We should of had Gus before he went to the Warriors.

But while it’s bitter watching this, I feel more powerful knowing Lord Gus is at the helm!!

I was always against signing him. Right after he turned us down he got injured again and missed the next two months. When he did play he had a game where he missed 13 tackles. We're better off without him.
Totally agree. Top player but he’s too injury prone

Not a token of confidence on Wakeham's behalf. He must really be on the outer.

Didn't he also say it was bullshit at the time too?
Yeh he said he never spoke to us in an interview after a game I think. I always thought that statement was bullshit, confirmed now.

My take, because I don't have any hate glasses when it comes to the Bulldogs.
"Loved what Trent Barrett was doing there, loved the group he was assembling".

Always a Bulldog

It’s legit news fmd
Who cares though? He signed elsewhere. He's past his prime. He's incredibly injury prone. He's inconsistent and misses a tonne of tackles. And we signed over a dozen new players. We wouldn't have signed TPJ or Vaughan if we signed Johnson. So now we have a better squad because he changed his mind. He did us a favour.
