Never been there but looks a bit cliche. I would expect sea captain from the simpsons to come and greet you on entry.Has anyone been on that ship/restaurant in Darling Harbour? Looks kinda dodgy but I heard it's nice?
Woah! Woah! I'm already engaged to this broad, no need to go over the top! Haha.Never been there but looks a bit cliche. I would expect sea captain from the simpsons to come and greet you on entry.
Lugarno seafood is pretty good and right on the water.

Where exactly is the Darling Harbour one?Yeah Nicks is awesome Andy.
Make sure you go to Nicks Seafood at Darling Harbour and not Nicks Bar and Grill just around the corner on King st Wharf. Slightly different menu options from meeory and didn't have something I wanted so I was disappointed. I haven't been to Nicks for a few years now but it's always an awesome feed. The entree platter for two kicks arse and then you can get an awesome steak for your main with more BBQ prawns on the side. The dessert is also awesome.
If it's a special night with your girl, don't sit near the walkway or you won't be able to stop having a perve at all the hotties walking past. it only takes getting caught once and you're in trouble all night!
I'm gonna book a room at the casino. Is there a Thai massage place in the casino? There is also a couple of great restaurants in the casino.
Stay overnight at the Darling, get the mrs a massage, go to The Black (restaurants), head to the various bars for a few drinks & stay overnight at The Darling for some bedroom sports. Whole night should be about $1,000 or so. Your mrs will love it.
Hurricanes in Brighton is also suppose to be good but I haven't been yet.

i was going to do it for my wifes 30th but for that kind of cash you could go away for a night or two so not really worth it (unless you are loaded)
Hurricanes is good also but not sure about their seafood (there is also one at darling harbour)
For great views I have been to http://www.ripplesmilsonspoint.com.au and really liked it (byo wine also). However the reviews I have seen since have not been great
Nicks is not far from Imax. It's near all the other restaurants along the promenade looking over Cockle Bay.Where exactly is the Darling Harbour one?
Haha. Yeah, kinda can't do that as it's her birthday and I'm booking a room that night. Can't have that room go to waste... haha
