Same old story

he didnt look like he was trying to get him on his shoulders imo
still intimidating for him tho to be surrounded dont you think
Steve you're joking bro? FFS cmon. That power ranger has exaggerated the incident and that's why after the club investigated the CCTV footage available and the power rangers several version of events, nothing has come of this.

HEY clown I wrote in another post about the looseness of the words great and legend I see you got it written under your name I reckon it would only be in your lunchbox. ANYWAY remember don't go sucking your thumb after you finish plaiting your shit.
:tearsofjoy:

Its funny how a few posters disappeared as soon as we starting playing well then suddenly all these posters ive never seen before come in here exaggerating shit
Straight the fuck out what happened to that troll brigade every thread was full of it. Instead of finally saying we’re on the right track they fail to admit they’re wrong. All well seen it all before, just happy we’re not shit anymore haha.

True that. Quite a few have crawled out from under rocks to express their disapproval or to just get abusive towards fellow fans. I wonder how many are trolls or media trying to get scoops or quotes.

My mum did too. Wooden spoon or the handle of a feather duster.

I think discipline in schools isn’t strong enough now. Detention achieves little. Working at the HSC for the last 5 years has highlighted this to my wif and I. Gee there are precious self entitled little shits that wouldn’t have survived school in my era.
Did you get the other end of the feather duster if you were a good boy? A little tickle under the chin?

So Simon said blah blah blah but mostly can't be seen in the footages to support his claim !!!
I am not condoning the stupid behavior of those fans nor I'm saying it's a catastrophe, I also admit those fans did take the banter a notch too far, the club and the game in general can do without this stupidity.
I reveal that in my household we've always admired Simon's efforts to drive from Sydney to Canberra to watch his beloved Raiders and still do but...
If Simon doesn't like being handled why is it when just outside the gates a fan said to him as a banter while laughing "go back to Canberra", Simon replied while grabbing the fan on the shoulder I come from Bass Hill brother Huh Huh Huh,
Maybe just maybe Simon should have been reported for assault
No mater what, the incident should never rob positives from the game and the night in general !!!
None the less it will never stop people with bad intentions to use the incident to vent their hatred against us...
As for the pretenders who probably haven't been to a Bulldogs game for almost 3 decades stop pretending that the incident will stop you from going back to Belmore...We don't need you !!!

This guy is now going on supercoach podcasts to tell anyone about what happened to him haha

I'm starting to think this is going to cause some idiot raiders fans to look for a payback opportunity when we next play them in Canberra. The fact that he appeared to walk away with little more than his pride ruffled in the second vid posted makes me lose the bit of sympathy I had for him over getting a bit of a fright.

He is a sad & simple attention seeker, sour grapes :(

Seems like it more with each passing minute. I still think the group should've avoided any physical contact. But if there'd been anything more harmful than the seemingly gentle tap on a plastic helmet it would have been in the media by now. His statements will already have done whatever damage to our reputation it was going to. Only dogs Dan's here and on other socials will be still thinking about this. Those without skin in the game will have decided we're a bunch of thugs and moved on.

He’s thriving on the attention. He was labeled a celebrity fan in an article I read yesterday. Old blokes dressing like that - he’s always wanted to be the centre of attention clearly. He’ll lap it up at their game on the weekend.

They were being smart arse dickheads but the reaction is way over the top. If that is the bar for poor fan behaviour, there will be club statements every week from multiple clubs

Good to see there’s a few people with common sense left. I would put it in the ‘unsavoury’ category. Very far from serious and not something to be outraged over. But we are living in the age of outrage so..

Pride ruffled is an apt description mate! The bit where the guy tried to pick him up or whatever he was doing, is like when someone pushes the back of your knees. It’s just mucking around. Dare I say he may not have been treated that way if unmasked as then his age would have probably been more apparent. People get treated differently if they are in their 20s or 30s to someone 50s and older.

Anyway talk about a storm in a teacup aye. Just to add something.. thinking about the viking outfit this bloke wears and I almost guarantee a 59 year old man wearing a Raiders jersey doesn’t get that treatment. Because he’s in that getup the crowd see him as a mascot of sorts. Anyway, onto the next game…
