Plus Sheargold has form. Quite a bit of it actually. So, i'd say he was already on thin ice with MMM management, which is a bit strange that they increased his on air time from 1 hour to 3 recently. Also, management know his style of humour and how it appeals to their demographic.

So, whilst i'm not totally shocked they sacked him, i'm a little surprised. There must have been sufficient pressure from other employees (presenters) and the real paymasters, sponsors.

That’s the ironic part, they want them to have podcasts and radio shows where it’s the presenters opinions and not just discussing results directly and get mad when a presenter doesn’t follow the script.
