The drunk has outdone himself. The biggest pile of dog excretion I have ever laid my eyes on. Don’t let the truth get in the way of your dribble you drongo.
Dorey was originally an eels junior who has done jack at the dogs. Has some potential but is injury prone, unfit and lazy. If he is a generational talent why are there not 16 clubs chasing his signature and offering him big $$. Sure bet he would have signed for minimum wage or not much more. Meaney and Smith are serviceable role players at best.

My goodness. We all knew that he had an agenda against Gus but this is just sad. At least come up with something solid. Needs to be out to pasture.

When this bloke kicks the buckets, you'll be able to fit the amount of people at his funeral that actually respect him into a phone booth.

He's a fool of the highest standards

Parramatta Eels poach Bulldogs generational forward
By: Buzz Rothfield | Daily Telegraph
View attachment 60839

The long-standing bitter rivalry between the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and Parramatta Eels has added a new dimension with young generational forward Matt Doorey defecting to his arch-rivals effective immediately.

In what represents a major failure for General Manager of Football Phil Gould, questions are being raised about Canterbury's questionable recruitment and retention commitee. The club has already released the likes of Reimis Smith, Nick Meaney and Matt Doorey who is expected to kick on at a rival club. The 22-year-old is not just another young rampaging forward - he is touted the future of the NSW Blues and Australian forward pack. A leader in his own right - all 16 NRL clubs are understandbly shocked that the Bulldogs would make this decision given how light and poor their forward pack is shaping to be next season.

No doubt incoming coach Cameron Ciraldo will struggle to get this pack firing.

The Bulldogs are left to pick up the pieces and hope that this decision won't come back to haunt them. The club has experienced letting rugby legends leave. Look no further than future immortal Johnathan Thurston - could Doorey be another JT situation?

Time will tell, I think so.

Now he is just embarrassing himself.
Only explanation is he has gone from the goon to meth.

"Generational forward" because that's how long it'll take him to get through a season without injury.

These scribes :-).
Failing to state the obvious that if we wanted to retain Doorey we would’ve. Not like he was on mega-bucks so the ‘cap pressure’ line doesn’t wash. Matt had a nasty injury that kept him out most of the season but on his return he didn’t exactly press for a first grade call-up, even with the likes of Thompson missing several games. Good luck to him but it’s not like the club didn’t make the call to let him go. #Clickbait
