Greek Top 17

Zeus captain and play maker (eldest of 3 brothers).

Poseidon great in wet weather footy (middle brother).

Hades has a reputation of winning games at the death (youngest brother of the 3).

Hercules tough as nails and very strong.

Uranus had a crap season, selected on past reputation.

Hermes great defensive player.

Hephaestus hard worker, can sculpt a game to his liking.

Cronus former captain but still vital in attack.

Eros loves playing, and it shows.

Hypnos is a great player but does have a tendency to fall asleep at times in defence.

Nemesis tough as nail, very protective of his teammates, will go after anyone who does wrong by them.

Hymenaios a great team man works well in combination

Geras most experienced player, getting on in years but still very valuable.

Deimos puts dread in the opposition.

Phobos as with his partner in crime Deimos puts fear into his opponents.

Comus the heart and soul of the team, keeps the energy up with his exuberance.

Aristarus a busy bee.

Coach Niké

Looks like they will be competitive… :grimacing:
I'd pick Con the fruiterer as prop.

I think Tonga will be much better with Hoppa at the back and Lolohea and Amone in the halves. Staggs was terrible.

Just guessing with the math's - 510 contracted players - Australian NZ and Pacific nations predominantly nrl players - over a quarter of NRL contracted players are likely to be playing in the World Cup -is it in the interests of the clubs to push for greater flexibility in top 30/ second tier contracts/ development contracts etc being able to play fg before June 30 next year.

The top 30 contract rule is the dumbest rule in the NRL. It needs to be scrapped completely.
