Totally agree. On paper they are a very capable side and should be much higher up the ladder than currently are.

But still very much can spank a side if they turn up to play.

Canberra are of of those teams that can be down by 20 points with 20mins to go and win a game.

Seeing as though we only played for 80mins once this year. Its gonna be a tough game

But they are more likely to be up 20 and lose. They have been the faders recently. They start ok.

He is better off in Reggies playing 80 mins each week than waiting every week to try and have some impact in 10 mins late in the game.. I would rather we roll with 4 forwards on the bench that will get rotated than carry BBO. Unless its Burton there isnt anyone in the side we cant cover if needed by shuffling if an injury pops up.

Agree he needs match fitness and a few 80 minute games in reggies, it's a waste of a benchspot to give him 7 minutes each week. I just think there's more points in us if TBaz uses BBO better. Those ten minutes before and after halftime is when teams are a bit asleep in defence and BBO can really exploit that with his speed from dummy half, but as always it's up to the Master Superior Ultimate Super Coach Barrett lol

The Raiders finished 10th last year - hardly good. By comparison, they finished 5th in 2020 and 4th in 2019. They are just continuing a downward slide which started long before Elliott arrived at the club. Elliott's form has been really good and he almost lifted a lackluster team to victory last week.....to suggest he is the problem is either half assed reverse trolling, or just plain daft.

As for Elliott's prospects of litigation, you just countered your own argument. He absolutely could have sued. He chose not to because he found another club and doing so would have only led to a drawn out legal battle which would have been a distraction for both the player, and the club he still loves.
