That try was pure luck for Smith and it is about time that something went our way.

In saying that though, unless Newcastle pack up and go home, or we score another three intercept tries we are not in this game.

Magic round ...lol it would take the combined talents of Houdini, Merlin and David Copperfield to get us in any way competitive.I made the comment that Penrith are atrocious, we are pretty much on par with them.

Cogger is playing well, but he is doing a lot of defence and therefore is taken away from any type of half action. Just now though a nice little kick to get another set of six.

First half at least Foran offered something in a ten minute period where he forced a couple of fresh sets but other than that not much input. Okonbur gave us his usual errors but funnily enough apart from the Pearce try that was scored on his side of the field the other two Newcastle tries were on the Hoppa side.

The Ponga fapfest continues and it made me sick to hear the commentators crap on when he threw a pass...yes something so out of the ordinary for their first try...

Where do we go from here...changes made but not much better effort; sub par completion, less possession, poor effective tackles 32 missed tackles in 54 minutes of play.
