Agree or not with selections we have to be fair to CC showing loyalty to the original team selected in order to build combinations, saying this it doesn't mean we should wait until the season is over if changes needed making.
I've said this before, I can see leadership quality in Hutchison but unfortunately he isn't a halfback !

But when Burton is running at 5/8 it’s hard to build combinations he is starving the outside backs of ball and not building set plays.
We need Hutchinson at 5/8 and sexton at half to create opportunities for the outside backs and build combinations. We also need a ball playing lock or back rower.

Set plays in attacking 20 if we can get there.
Wilson great player too small not quick enough like Ben barba he had blistering pace.
Need a bigger winger in that position.

Wilsons yardage game is fine. Plus he has scored two tries this year. He’s runs into meters are above average compared to a lot of other more established wingers in the game. I’m not saying he’s the answer, but bagging he’s yardage game is incorrect

What’s the runs to metres gained ratio?
Can do a lot of quantity but we need quality.
Metres per run is 7 lowest in our team (ouch)
Should have scored when his foot went into touch, a lot of other wingers would have scored that try.
Not saying he is a bad player just not what we need with what we have.

It’s fine. Bring up last game against sharks or eels and cross reference against there wingers. Considering we were in the back foot it’s actually quite impressive. He def bombed that, yet he dropped it anyway so foot didn’t matter.

The problem is if we win, CC will think his team selections are fine and persist. If we lose by just 2, he will think exactly the same thing. Remember this is the guy that thinks our attack has been fine the last 2 weeks. We are in for a long time of pain tbh.

It doesn’t matter how gutsy we are in the first 60 minutes of a game, we leaked 25 points at the end of the day in round 2. The game is played for 80 minutes

We have no size in the forward pack and while Burton showed improvement, Hutchinson is not a halfback.

Also of the teams that have already played two games. We already have the worst attack in the competition and the second worse defense.
