He isn't getting picked because he isn't what we need right now. We've got edge forwards and we've got players that offer better utility value than him. I can't see him getting a run unless we lose an edge forward or potentially Brown.

I see what your saying but I disagree that Topine doesn't offer utility value , he can play second row, lock, hooker and centre and you could use him as a running 6 if we got desperate. To me he is the perfect player to carry on the bench, because he can cover those awkward to fill spots due to injury through out the game , but you can also still use him as a normal player in the bench rotation if there is no injuries.
