Forum will go into meltdown.
After the way Mahoney let emotion fuck his performance last time we played Parra, I'm kinda glad he's not playing. Bloke doesn't need the pressure / stress.

Wow watching that second try from the Cows in the first half against Storm from a pass a metre forward versus the pass to Averillo....

Kyle Flanagan set to return for Bulldogs

Speaking to the media post-game, Ciraldo revealed the plan for Flanagan has been in place for a number of weeks.

Kyle played NSW Cup today and Harry Edwards did a really good job for us there in the second-half," he said.

Kyle is playing 80 minutes regularly week-to-week in NSW Cup and he’s been working hard on playing hooker.

He has really bought into transforming into that position and more than likely he will get an opportunity there.

We spoke to him last week and told him what our thoughts were… he’s been working hard and it’s more than likely that opportunity will come next week."

After spending the majority of his first grade career to date in the halfback or five-eighth position, Flanagan's recent move to the middle of the field could turn things around in a contract year.

Mate you can’t expect him to go from centre to 6 and then to 7 and within 5 or 6 games be playing a top level 7’s game ..

7 is the hardest position to learn and it takes time …

His biggest problem is he doesn’t have a 6 or a 1 to play with that are also huge attacking threats … so guess who the opposition are most focused on ??

Perham has to go … the mistakes he made at vital times today continually ruined our momentum ..

KO’s been given a chance now, it’s obvious he’s not 1st grade ready.

Moving Averillo to 6 instantly gives Burton a running attacking threat upfront beside him .

Put Kiraz at right centre, Skelton/ Wilson Right wing ..

And after watching Papa today, give him a go at FB with Fox covering/mentoring him …

You lose nothing moving Kiraz in at centre, Wilson played well today .. Skelton makes good metres and is a good finisher …

Averillo adds another attacking threat up front with Burton

We could make a run for the 8 with a spine of

Averillo
Burton
Mahoney
Papa ..
My whole point was why is he protected so much on here but an 18 year old kid gets hate deflected onto him?

I'd actually have Avo at FB, Burton back to 5/8th and when fit, give BBO his shot at HB and if needed try Rajab at HB.

I love Papa but like KO, not ready this year. I actually see more potential in Papa than KO as a FGer if I'm truly honest.

Flannagan has been playing very well in NSW cup at hooker & today was their best player with two try assists & lots of scheming. Seems like his game is better suited for hooker. At the moment, he is our better option for a critical hooker position.

Just watched the presser. You probably won't like it but looks like the Flange will be back as 9 to replace him next week according to Ciraldo :tearsofjoy:
Bag Flanagan all you guys want.
He is the only one who can tackle at our club.
Watch him tighten the middle

Match review committee is up.

Bulldogs players Reed Mahoney and Blake Wilson are each facing lengthy bans after being cited for offences in Sunday afternoon's loss to the Roosters.

Wilson was hit with a Grade 2 Misconduct Charge for using his face to hit Sitili Tupouniua's shoulder which resulted in the Roosters lock feeling emotional damage, and now faces a ban of between 2-3 matches for what is his first offence of that type.

Mahoney meanwhile is also facing 2-3 matches for using his face to hit Joseph Sual'li's knee which resulted in further reputational damage to Sual'li given the previous accusations of knee lifting in tackles.

Sigh - when will we learn.
Gold. Someone get this man a beer.
