The problem is if Barrett gets sacked we'll lose Burton.
Burton can talk to clubs next year from November. So, the only way to extend his contract is if we re-sign Barrett next year prior to November.

He's had two or three games in FG this season where he's made similar metres. Aside from Thompson, he's been our best prop this season. He should be playing ahead of Napa. That's a no brainer.

Definitely agree I really like him but he needs to bring that effort and energy every single week in the top grade.
Lets hope the dropping back to reserve’s this week has jolted his brain a little.

Napa shouldn’t be spared a stint in lower grade either going by his form.

Not sure I can put my finger on it but his running meters don't always correspond with the minutes he plays, he had some good games in there though.
Wondering if if it is a case of him been miss managed

At least we are not gold coast guys. They have a stacked team in all positions and still can't make the top 8 year in year out. I'd be more annoyed if that was us. At least we know we don't have talent.

2.5 metres gained per minute isn't* bad and he's a benchie not a starter (probably a starter in our team tho). Atoni's our best forward after Thompson and he's the most dangerous forward we have with ball in hand. I'm not going to deny he's not the best defensively or is lazy at times, but so is Napa for e.g. who offers absolutely nothing.

I think this year their expectations should of been in or around the eight. If they're no chance of making the 8 towards the back end of the season that's not good enough, but if they just miss out that's where I had them to be at the start of the season anyway.

Geez Hetherington gets a fine of $3,050 for something that wouldn't have been a penalty 3 weeks ago. Going frame by frame the initial contact was sternum height but it hit the ball & went up. This game is a joke. (I appreciate he has loading, but still)

Isaah Yeo hits Doorey in the mouth & gets a fine of $1,150.

Can someone tell me what Hopoate was fined $1,150 for? I went through the tackle frame by frame & I still don't know.

And Moses Leota gets 1 game for whacking Averillo in the face. How that is careless & not intentional is beyond me.
