Just announced that Tohu Harris is out now for up to 2 months.

Compared to last years team, Storm look very skinny.

No Proctor - he was deadly with Cronk on the right hand side especially close to the try line. They would isolate the oppositions half and he would dive over and score easily.

No Slater apparently for round 1.

No Tohu Harris now.

No Blake Green.

Ado Carr is a down grade from Korabete imo.

There has been a change with the way the teams are named on Tuesdays now.

There will be a squad of 21 named on Tuesday and that's trimmed down to the final 17 24 hours before kick off of the match.

I'm pretty sure Des will name the exact same squad as the last trial.

Excited that the season has started. We all bag out des and the boys but I think I speak for all of us when i say it comes from a good place.

Just want to see a different style of play and a deep finals run.

got a sitter for the bub, will be making the trip down from the coast, probs can't make any other thursday/friday night games but a belmore round 1 games was to much to miss


i'm generally a pessimist but i do feel people are writing us off far to easily, i also thing our style is better suited to the first half of the year when no one's attack is clicking, we're capable of grinding out some results early on. tough game first up but their edge backrowers could be a weakness, proctor and tohu have been the most reliable combo for years, neither of them are there friday. kafusi can play but big minutes on a rainy night, bound to make a few mis-reads imo

Correct and if a players name isn't in the 21 named squad on Tuesday he cannot play on game day. You can only draw on the 21 pencilled in originally so no more bullshit surprises or mind games that never ever worked last season.
