I don't know how people still have the optimism to keep posting these threads after the last 8 years. I could care less who is in the team next year at the moment. I just want to see 17 players giving everything they have and working hard for each other.

Right now even some of our best players have become passengers, we leave 10 metre gaps between defenders in the defensive line and players look like they don't want to be there.

Agree the attitude across the board is poor. Which is reflected in the results.

I went into this season believing we would finish with 8-9 wins so we are not that far away from that mark.

We have been smashed by injuries which hasn’t helped. However it’s the nature of how we have played regardless of who is playing that is most disappointing. Experience and talent aside. Whoever pulls on that jersey should be turning up on defence for each other, the coaches and the fans.

I’m not sure where the finger of blame lays.

The players, the coaching, fitness or a combination of all? The attitude is just not there. I’m worried that is something that cannot be fixed by a flick of the switch over an off season.

Can't see any alternative. Sexton is one of those guys (actually like many guys the Dogs seem to recruit) that don't appear to offer much if the team is going shit but if the team starts to fire they go with it and rise to the occasion. Don't be too quick to write the guy off.

What ever way you slice it, our team will once again not stack up against half the competition.

It’s a weaker squad than what we had this year. We have totally underperformed.

I hope Xerri kills it, he is looking fit on Instagram.

Dean Pay looks like Bellamy compared to Ciraldo. His team was garbage, but they all played with a level of self respect. I used to hate Holland, Hopoate, Lewis etc but they could at least tackle.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Taaffe playing 7 next year. I think he's a good signing as he will put genuine pressure on both Critta and Sexton.
