1. Lol no player with a quater of a brain is going to advise some RANDOMS about his future especially supporters of his current team

2. If I purchased a house in CTOWN I would be running

3. Article is similar yes the story has been doing the rounds except in this case it's from a RUGBY writer who never reports it unless certain.. Big difference to NRL and Union rumours most NRL rumours never eventuate Union generally don't report unless certain. Same guy was all over the Korobiete move.

Make no mistake the dogs can not afford Rona. When you have Josh and Brett on 600-800k per year it swallows your cap not to mention hoppa on $350 will seek a large upgrade the following year and Brad Abbey on 300k with Rona on about the same couldn't imagine he would be to impressed would you?? 2.3mil just here with hoppa seeking upgrades next year
LOL

This should get people talking.

THE Cowboys have staved off a Canterbury poaching attempt on Javid Bowen as the Bulldogs fight an uphill battle to stop Curtis Rona defecting to rugby union.

The NRL is set to lose one of its most promising backline stars with Rona, the former Cowboys winger, on the verge of quitting to join Super Rugby province Western Force.

The Courier-Mail understands Rona has sought permission to leave Belmore, with Force officials privately claiming they have lured the tryscoring ace to the wild west for 2017.

Aware of rugby’s poaching bid, Canterbury explored contingency plans, making overtures to the nephew of Cowboys legend Matt Bowen as a replacement for Rona.

...

Rona, meanwhile, is close to brokering a release. The 24-year-old is contracted to the Bulldogs until the end of next season, but Force bosses believe the 102kg hulk will be on deck for the 2017 kick-off in February.

Rona, who has 33 tries in 45 games for the Bulldogs, has strong ties to Perth. He moved to Western Australia with his Kiwi family as an eight-year-old and was a member of the Western Force Academy in 2009 before his move to the Cowboys.

Yep.... absolutely 0 substance to this one.. just more summation.

If he wants to go to union he can leave. We've got Phillips and young Smith waiting in the wings.

Seems bizzare he'd buy a new house only to leave a few months later.

No quotes or anything.

I'm wondering if it's a ploy by media to unsettle our side coming into finals (like the Lichaa thing).

Smith snapped his leg in 2 places... no idea if he'll be the same again.
Phillips defence is his problem.
