There is breaking news that Australian cricket legend, Rod Marsh has passed away at 74, following a massive heart attack last week. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. May he Rest in Peace.

RIP Bacchus. Legend not only behind the stumps but was a gutsy bat who I remember dug us out of a few sticky situations and post retirement committed himself to the betterment of the game and its future players. He’ll be remembered as one of our best.

RIP to a legend of cricket.. I remember he was at a Cricket Camp I was at when I was a kid. Dennis Lillee, Ian Healy and Kerry O'Keefe were some others that were there.. He was one of the nicest there..

Noooo.. I loved watching him play..a genuine legend of Australian cricket.. So sad to hear.. caught Marsh bowled Lillie appeared 95 times on the scorecard..a cricket record.. Coincidentally Marsh was involved in 355 dismissals..Lillie ended up with 355 wickets.. RIP champion..

One of my fondest memories of him is of a One Day game at Adelaide Oval where late inns he put about half a dozen through The Victor Richardson Gates.
