The ball didn't leave position from where he carried it to the line.

Steve Chiddy explained the decision in the box, but ex Roosters player Luke Phillips is also in the box.

Also .. video ref can't overturn their call, and nor can a ref.

So if they screw up with the no try call on the Roosters try, the decision stands. I refuse to believe "Oh it accidentally stuffed up and said the wrong thing" as they have to press and button and then CONFIRM it a second time.

I agree it should stand as a no try for Roosters

A try that would have almost definitely changed the flow of the game, given us a huge leg up in confidence.

What a joke.

Even SportsBet are refunding first try scoring bets on those who had money on Mbye because they reckon it was a legitimate try

Hire them instead of whoever the f*ck is currently in the box..

If ever there was a greater example of match fixing going around, I'd love to see it.

Way I see it aswell, I bet the betting agencies (10:1 odds I have) didn't want to payout Mbye being a first try scorer lol...

The system requires a button press, as well as a confirmation press.

There's no way you could "accidentally" hit the wrong button unless you were blind or braindead.
