I really can't see that there is much wrong with traditional rivalries that have built up over the years with the Rabbits and Good Friday controversy and also being salty with Sutton for all the one-sided penalties and decisions he has made to put us on the back foot every Easter game (in particular).

I see it as part of the theatre of this traditional game.

We weren't a good team during the early 7 losses but we still played well enough to win the past few if we had got "the bounce of the ball".

The Bupa incident in particular added to the escalation and was not a good look but we got over it.

All teams have issues with refs and can site incidents of crowd agitation when wrong or inept or bias decisions alter results.

Bulldogs fans aren't the only supporters who feel aggrieved with refs.

I reckon Sutton distrust is built into our DNA now and is a tradition and just like other sporting traditions is something that will never go away.

It's just part of the vagaries of sport and passionately supporting your team.

We don't need to feel guilty about it.

If you lose, they will blame another ref & say they are doing if for Sutton etc.

In 100 years' time, it will still be Sutton's fault.
 
And that's the traditional rivalry and sometimes silliness and fans own bias against certain refs.

Every team has this in all sports.

We blame refs.
Players, rules, NRLol, the media.

Whinging about whinging and hating on refs part of the fun too I guess.

Yep. but of course we’re 5-0 and all the usual charges of the NRL manipulating the draw and referee ‘corruption‘ being the reason the Bulldogs weren't winning have vanished like a fart in the wind.
Now we’re down to some dribble about DNA.
You can’t put brains in statues :-).
 
If anyone is not using their tickets this week I’d like to use them. Happy to pay. Want to take my son to his first game and rather it not be in the nosebleeds. Thanks guys

Keppie has been playing his best football under Wayne this season . In the case he contacts one of our players around the head, will be sent to the dressing rooms similar to a Kelpie rounding up the herd.
 
offtopic but we're coming into ANZAC jersey announcement territory soon. Feel like it should have been announced already? I think last year it was announced around 5 days out so that feeling is probably baseless
