It's early in the year but i thought it might be fun to pencil in your thoughts on representative sides this year.

I hope the blues make many changes this year as i think they need to if we want to win particaulary in the back line. I have shun many of the manly players as i feel that none of them are really up to rep standard. It is also apparent that NSW lack depth in the front row

Here are my teams.

LOL at your Australian Team backline.

Why would you move Inglis to the wing at the expense on Jennings? ROFL.

If you wanted to do that, you'd move Jennings to the wing and Inglis to centre. Inglis is way more destructive.

I'll only list a NSW Side.

1. Brett Stewart
2. David Williams
3. Matt Cooper
4. Josh Morris
5. Jarryd Hayne
6. Terry Campese
7. Peter Wallace
8. Michael Weyman
9. Robbie Farah
10. Josh Perry
11. Glenn Stewart
12. Ben Creagh
13. Paul Gallen(c)

14. Feleti Mateo
15. Ben Cross
16. Luke Bailey
17. Kurt Gidley

Mateo shouldn't start in Origin type games. He should come on after about 20 minutes when all the bashing is done so he can do the offloads and what not.

Yeah i would have Inglis on the wing, much better under the high ball when defending on the wing than Jennings .I also think Jennings is a much better player when he has more room to move ,of which you would get playing in the centres as opposed to the wing. Inglis is a proven success at Rep level on the wing. So that is the way i would go if i had both players in the team.

Normally Id say true, but on this years form I cannot.
exactly right. Boyd is living up to the hype to surrounding him this year. I think he leads the NRL for tackle busts so that's saying something.

he isnt saying on this years form though

he is making a statement by saying boyd is better than jennings when he isnt. Jennings is stronger, faster, and has more skills

Well actually basing it on careers, boyd has played for australia, qld (the team winning 3 in a row) and won a premiership with the broncos, jennings hasn't cracked the NSW team (the losing one with outside backs who aren't that good anyway) and hasn't cracked orign or aus side yet (unless i'm mistaken).

This year, boyd has been in red hot form, his game against the broncos was simply brilliant, he was busting tackles left right and centres and eating up metres galore and has been one of the dragons best this year so far

Jennings is a good player, but boyd is better, in open spaces, no he's not as good, and he's not as fast either, but boyd is also very good at centre, winger and fullback, I haven't seen jennings in fullback or wing yet.

Jennings played fullback for Tonga. hth

Boyd is a much better player. Jennings has pace and a good step but Boyd is stronger and a better defender.

Don't get me mistaken though. Jennings is definately a talent.

And I agree, most of them would make almost any NRL team, It's just that I think boyd has more qualities than jennings.

Agree to a certain extent. Injuries, form, suspensions all factors to consider.
These are all things that are considered at the time of selection, which is still a while away. And that's for a reason - so much can change.

How can one say that a player should be in the rep side after the completion of 4 games (3 games prior to this weekend)?

Premature thread IMO. We should do a thread like this during selection time and assess players over a longer period.

A few good games does not warrant origin selection.

To early but i hope those sh!t rooster players like mason anasta pearce and fitzgibon dont make it. The idea of Anasta and Pearce playing at club level is stupid. Don choose them on that , base it on form and create a new comb.
