We need to be more ruthless and go after the following:

1. Tyrell Fuimaono
2. Apisai Koroisau
3. Ethan Lowe
3. Junior Tatola
4. Alexander Brimson

Fuimaono brings skill, pace, and power. Could be to us what Bird was to the Sharks when they won it in 2016. Koroisau too replace Lichaa and gives us better service from dummy half. Lowe can run lines and help improve our defence, he is also a goalkicker. Tatola is a big body that can run decent lines and have good impact off the bench for us. Brimson is a playmaker with huge potential, definitely a class above Cogger and he could start in our ISP side with the likely departures of Frawley and Cleeland and hopefully prove himself and receive a call-up or even impress in the off season and start in the number 7.

Following off-contract players shouldn't be re-signed:

1. Matt Frawley
2. Josh Cleeland
3. Lachlan Burr
4. Greg Eastwood
5. Rhyse Martin

Frawley and Cleeland whilst both could be decent first graders are currently dead weight for us. Burr was always just a filler player. Eastwood while playing decently this season just isn't up to standard anymore. If Martin was ever going to make it would have had to been earlier this season with the hype he had after the World Cup, he will be 26 next season and doesn't seem like he will make it.

Following players should be offered to other clubs:

1. Adam Elliot
2. Will Hopoate
3. Michael Lichaa
4. Aiden Tolman

I'd be surprised if we weren't able to offload most if not all those players. Elliot is rated by a few teams and coaches around the league, Hopoate could be a decent player for a few sides and would find a club without much issue, Lichaa might be a tough one but I'm sure if Manly lose Koroisau then they might offer him a lifeline, and Tolman shouldn't be too hard to offload considering there are a few clubs struggling for forwards.

Team for 2019 should be:

1. Mbye
2. Bmoz
3. Jmoz
4. Fuimaono
5. Montoya
6. Foran
7. Brimson
8. Woods
9. Koroisau
10. Klemmer
11. Lowe
12. RFM
13. Jackson

14. To'omaga
15. Ogden
16. Tatola
17. Lewis

Best and only chance we have at getting rid of Lichaa and getting a good replacement is if somehow Matt Parcell gets home sick... and we offer a trade to Leeds.
As for Elliot he's not working for us... Imagine if we let Newcastle or Parra take him and used his money to get L.Fitzgibbon... would have been great

Given our cap situation though i'd try get some experienced players on the cheap, like Bukuya and Latu.

We can easily afford to sign 1 player despite what the media says... So Sharks and Titans were rumoured to be interested in Tolman, well that could make life easy for us... for example;

We need a backrower to move Jackson to lock, so offer Cronulla Tolman for Bukuya.
We also need a major boost on our bench to help our front row, so offer Tolman for Latu (who isnt getting any time in the NRL)
This is a great scenario as it covers a weakness in our side and offloads someone who is surplus to requirements.

As mentioned in another rumour thread Koriousau would be fucking epic as he would 100% change the way we play and make us a threat again...but he would command big dollars which we would struggle to scrape together. Also Api fucking loves Barrett and the coach loves him back, this relationship claims the silver medal just behind Wayne and Darius lol.

8. Klemmer
9. Marshall-King (dreaming of Koriosau though)
10. Woods
11. Bukuya* an experienced campainger who can run a line, would love the appeal of a guaranteed starting spot until retirment imo.
12. Mariner
13. Jackson

14. Brown
15. To'Omaga
16. Latu* not getting game time at the Titans, big athletic body with some ball skills, try get him on the cheap! still young only 26 this year i think.
17. Fine (would like Okunbur to take this spot, but his pass selection/decision making in space needs improving along with his defence... i hope he fixes these issues as he could be a great impact player for us. If we somehow nabbed Api, i'd like to have Jayden in the #14 and run an extra front rower on the bench and have a heavy middle third rotation, but thats another story.

This isnt an overly dominat pack, but it certainly alleviates alot of issues we currently have and would be cost effective (keeping in mid that the Morris twins would likely need to be offloaded).

Let's recruit the Roosters Accountant this would automatically take care of our salary cap problems and we would have $20 million in our cap to spend with No TPA and No back-ended contracts.

Would never make it in the NRL. He would only be able to play 10 mins stints of the bench.
Could only handle 21 minute avg in U20’s. Simply the wrong code for him.

Straight into Rugby if the NFL doesn’t work out.

He struggled to get a bench spot in our SG Ball Squad.

Read that he's back in Sydney, he may be 31 but still has a better kicking and passing game than JMK and Frawley. Should we throw him a lifeline for minimum wage?
