So far, this year has been a bitter disappointment. I didn’t expect us to be winning the comp but find myself hoping, for example Penrith beat Dragons last night so as to keep us away from the spoon. It’s actually pretty depressing - we are again down with the dregs close to the bottom of the table.

It’s a dire cycle season starts few wins that get your hopes up then all the shithousery starts. We’re safe from the spoon just sick of hanging around the bottom of the table second we have the opportunity string some momentum its followed by disappointment with parra and sharks following we may wound up going 5 and 10. Thing that keeps me going is when we finally get to the top it all going to be worth it just still so many uncertainties. Yet we will still rock up each week eager to watch our team play till the day we die, how sad.

Most important positions are 1? 6. Burton, 7.? and 9. Mahoney.
Play Avo or Kiraz at 1, Papali'i would just be another teenager thrown to the wolfs. Rajab is at this stage the best 7 at the club, but in defense is a major concern. KO is versatile and so competes with Nu Brown for the 14, jumper. KO can replace Rajab if and when Rajab keeps getting found out in defence. Also shift Alamoti to right centre.

I watched the NSW Cup match and the team did very well, actually looked good all round in the 2nd half, was nice to watch.

The team plays for each other. Ko and rajab were there halves for a while, they’ve chopped and changed their spine so many times lost some of the better players to first grade but still always show up. Just wish fg played the same

I know Mahoney might get clearance to play but the club should still be cautious with him and give him the week off. That's two weeks in a row now he's had a head knock and even if he passes protocols, he's still at more risk to get another concussion now than he was a few weeks ago before the Tino/Sua'ali'i incidents.

Got a feeling Rajab might get the 7 with KO to the bench or out. Rajab has been the better player this year. I think the fact he was at the World Cup hurt him as it meant CC didn't get to know him better. Hayze won't get dropped for papa.. he is playing great but they will give home the full season in cup. I think Hayze will get dropped for Burns when he is 100%...but that is still 2-3 weeks away.

As much as I don't want Perham in the side, I certainly wouldn't be replacing him with Papali'i, no doubt Papali'i is our future but picking him in first grade right now would be throwing him to the wolves ... leave him in cup for the remainder of the year so he can continue to build his confidence in a winning team.
