For someone who never played the game, his commentating was unrivalled and first class.

The voice of Rabs is definitely missed- especially in the big games. Channel 9 really dropped the ball with getting replacement for Rabs. Fox is far better. I only listen to 9 when I have to

Very enjoyable watch, is held in high regard as a sports broadcaster of many decades service and rightly so.

All the best Rabs as said you are and will continue to be missed, commentary isn't as good without you and is unlikely to be again.
I always thought he was great.
