One of the next great NRL forwards, Leo Thompson is already on the wish lists of numerous teams around the league, with many more sure to follow if he can back up his 2024 efforts with another big season.
Thompson will be free to negotiate with these teams come November 1, and it is understood he is open to a move after being concerned with the Knights clear out of veteran players.
According to NRL insider Adrian Proszenko, the Raiders are keen to bring Thompson back to the nation's capital, after he played for them in the Jersey Flegg Cup in 2020 and 2021, while fellow expert David Riccio has reported that the Canterbury Bulldogs have the young gun on their radar.
Thompson played in 23 fixtures for Newcastle this season, averaging 104 run metres and 10.5 hit-ups per game, for a total of 38 tackle breaks.
