Just imagine if this was us....He has a sternum injury that was clearly getting needled every week, got found out when he went to Blues camp. He then played for Rabbits a week or so later wtf? He still played 21 games for the year but missed out on playing for Australia in the Pacific Championship. It then comes out that this same injury now needs surgery 1 year later. This conveniently comes out when players were going to go to an early Blues camp. If it wasn't for this would they have kept needling him up? They resigned him for 850K in July 2023, was part of this a bribe? What is crazy is the lack of heat the rabbits are getting, if this was us there would be crap everyday. The rabbits have cost him 6 blues jerseys and 3 Aussie Jersies and he will likely be out the whole season.

Some clubs get away with murder though. I think King and Kiraz went through last season carrying injuries. I hope we don't make a habit of doing this with players. It could come back to bite us.

Regarding Origin, if Freddy didn't pick him as 18th man, he would have played. It wasn't because of the injury that he pulled out because as you said he kept playing through it for most of the season after that. So in that respect, they didn't cost him a Blues jersey. He withdrew from selection because he realised how much Freddy was screwing him around.
