The Warriors in your 'making up the number' list?

They have a nice draw to finish the year and look good for a top four spot.

Penrith are deserved favourites. At this stage, I think Souths and the Broncos are the only other genuine contenders. The Cowboys are very good but I keep seeing that Wests scoreline and I don't think you can win a competition after the wooden spoon favourites put 66 points on you.

But, the Warriors would be my smokies.

Don't forget they have Supercoach steering the ship

The only game that I can see them losing is Panthers but I think Panthers will have won the minor premiership already and will rest their players so Cowboys win.

Panthers v Cowboys GF would be awesome, just to see Holmes v Crichton go at each other. Both known to get intercepts in big games, would be a good battle.
Tommy Dearden and Cleary running at each other.

Warriors more likely to lose in straight sets than make the GF.

Yes I had them beating Panthers for that reason but I think they lose to Parra and Bronco. They're then out on for and against but like I said I didn't do the scores for each game. Anyway I'll stick with my prediction

Me too would be a nice change. One of the better GFs I enjoyed watching was Manly v Warriors in 2011.

Agree. The scary thing about coming up against Panthers in a big game is seeing how many gears Leota and JFH went up last year in the GF. Whatever forward pack faces them, their whole middle third will have to have career best games.

They're forward pack is still more than good enough. They got Paulo, Hopgood, Matterson, Ofahengaue, Ogden, Makatoa, Lane, Cartwright, Davey.
