It was the Bunker; not the referee. He had allowed the game to flow. It was the bunker which pulled him up after four tackles.
Pity they missed the Cam Murray hip drop on Preston. I reckon we won't hear any more about that. Preston should have taken a dive.
Gotta coach our players to do that now by the looks if we want parity in penalties :(

Someone should refer that to the TV panels for comment. That would force the NRL to take action or look like hypocrites.

We know that Souths are "everyone's favourite team". Go anywhere in the world, and you will see someone sporting a Souths cap or jumper.
They are the team the cool people want to support, and are favourites of the media glitterati. Heck, I even enjoy watching them play other teams.

Their high profile makes them untouchable, and any crackdown on their players will be interpreted as victimisation. They play the underdog card very well.

It def affects the margin so yeah can see punters/betting agency having some concerns, protests, input soon if this trend stays a permanent fixture of games.
Or they could offer odds on whether a player is binned in the first or second half.

You wont hear anything from Annersley tomorrow because he only responds to top 4 teams or teams with private owners

I Think Sutton must have some kind of record for sending one of our players to the bin in every good Friday game since he has been refereeing them. and we always go down by a big margin, It's the Sutton crucifixion of the Bulldogs every Good Friday
And like Pontius Pilate, Annesley will wash his hands of any responsibility…
