That bench may need a tweak?
Having said that, I do like this team for maximum grunt, yet it's still quick & agile.
Hayes would have to be a chance - he can cover outside backs as well as entire forward pack except #9.
Sitili can play centres & Todd/Curran can play 13 - particularly Todd.
But do we need more backs/spine coverage?
Like a traditional #14 (Hayward, Oloapu)??

Jack Underhill, Luke Smith, Reuben Moyle, Cassius Tia, Danny Gabreal, AJ Jones

Analysis: The Bulldogs have gone all-in on their next generation with all six train-and-trialists being plucked from the club’s premiership-winning Jersey Flegg squad. Jack Underhill is a prop, Luke Smith is a second-rower, Cassius Tia is a half and Danny Gabreal is an outside back.

Meanwhile, Reuben Moyle was named the Bulldogs’ Jersey Flegg Player of the Year after his efforts at hooker and AJ Jones — who was the club’s SG Ball Player of the Year in 2023 — is a second-rower.

I never thought of it like that your onto something about not needing that traditional 14 now if we go that route. Great analysis. Haven't even seen anyone else break it down like that I wonder if that's actually the plan seems more legit.

Yeah I agree with Hayes covering forwards and centre
And I think it’s important to have someone that can cover halves or 9 with the HIA rules now
I have a Curran ahead of Todd because Curran played so well next season. He will get his opportunity too many injuries last year

Dunno ...look I'd prefer to have a gun #14
But ...if we don't have one ....then it's a luxury putting Hayward on the bench for mine.
Sure, he's 100% effort & covers halves in a HIA ...but, I'm not sure he has enough skill/speed to warrant his position yet.

struggled this year at Knight, hasn't shown a lot in the NRL so far, hopefully better than a dud and we can rely on him if needed in 1st grade if we get some injuries.
 
Has anyone been watching the boys train? Have any of the top 36 been ‘missing’?
Some are saying KO is gone. It would be good to have clarity. Thanks
