This is doing the rounds...The modern day equivalent of an old graggly guy with a shotgun yelling at kids to get off his lawn...

I have no beef with Pokemon go as long as its not adversely affecting others. I'd be annoyed with people coming up to my door or hanging on my lawn all hours (i have recently seeded and topsoiled it so would be doubly angry....

We do seem to have entered an era though where its "normal" to act like a kids when you are in your 30s.

I never technically aged past 16.

Chased him again when he came up nearby but he never showed and then had an Abra or whatever the fuck it is nearby but it never showed. Filthy. So I went from having no idea what this was to start playing it with my niece for a bit of fun to the old school gamer coming out in me and grinding it for 7 days. I work near the Opera House so a bit of cheating there to getting to level 23.

Now I'm just a bit done with it all. Still I walked around more than I normally would have these days and got some enjoyment out of it so I think it was a great success. I'll keep it on my phone and check in every now and then but no more grinding.

Got drunk with mates on Saturday arvo watching football.. Gf picked me up and got me maccas and let me play Pokemon whilst getting food.. Got home and thrashed her.

My man card is well and truly solidified
