He was a striking looking dog. His mum was a bull terrier so he was pretty thick.

He looks like he would have been a character. I love dogs with a bit of personality

Just brilliant.. Dad built an Avery..we used to have it out the back under a big tree.. they used to go into the tree in the day and come back to the Avery at night.. All was good until I got a new dog and she got into the Avery and literally scared a few to death.. So we let ‘em go!!

They can become pretty friendly as long as you don't give them another bird for company and you spend time with them. They'll generally pick their person though and will generally be their bird. I had one as a teenager and we were great mates until I got him a companion. From that point onwards I got wiped.
