I don't think the fact that they broke is the issue.....trophies get broken accidentally all the time. It's what they did with it afterwards....and then were stupid enough to post the pics.

The NRL understands accidents happen, but it was the way in which they took photos and posted it like a baby in a pram and the smart ass goo ga business.
