Paying 1mill for a prop will cripple us, not how to rebuild
Well he's better value than Fifita on 1.3m/1.1m/1.1m. That's what a club like us would have to pay to have a chance if he was off contract. With Thompson on big money I don't see us spending money anywhere near that. A signing like TPJ, Taupau or Finucane around 600k makes the most sense with our salary cap (and we still need a hooker).

I totally agree. First get b.smith or Clarke and whatever is left get a good forward. I doubt we have for both b.smith and haas

Haas is not allowed to sign a contract with a rival for more money than his Broncos contract is worth. NRL introduced this rule to stop/reduce this exact scenario. Crazily enough though, i think the team he's contracted to can "top up" his contract. So there may be a massive loophole there.. sign him for 500k.. then upgrade his salary a few months later, to his real value

But my brother from a different transgender mother, was that rule actually enacted? Or just spoken about Uleh?

Doesnt state which clubs but surely we're one of them. I reckon we wouldve had a better shot before Ikin turned up, he'll never let Haas leave, especially 3 years early. If he's actually disgruntled and wants out, what can he do to get out of his contract? Is there a way?
Do what I reckon the Rorters have always done and encourage players to muck up so the club sacks them, then sign them.

Too soon to sign him for 2025 which is when he wont be under contract. I would never sign a player and wait years and hope he doesnt get broken in the meantime. Could end up with another she rex who was good for a few years then shit value for money when we got him

Haas contract, instead of giving TPJ 750+ it would make more sense to give haas 800 least we knew what we can with him..
After today’s performance something has to change...I think Barrett needs to focus on making things simple at training rather then over complicating things

Haas not coming for 800 and he ain't off contract or leaving the Broncos. We also wouldn't sign TPJ for 750.

We need to offer Tommy turbo the fullback and captaincy. And give him 450k a season.

If it wasn’t for him I think we win 22-19 today.

He could sign with any club in the comp. Why would he join us?

Taupau or Finucane for $600k would be a steal…buy both at that price.

Thewre is no way we could get Turbo for 450 a season,
honestly we wiould need to double that to around 850/900. He would be in demand.
