Agree Pangai is a must. Vaughan would be great if cheap enough.

Then throw all we can at Brandon to get it done be it for 2023 or 2022 with some luck.

I tell you what if I was Paul Vaughan I would definitely be speaking to Lawyers in regards to the 8 week suspension. Something very unconscionable about being sacked and having to gain another job with what basically is a suspension period for ones income.

His suspension will never hold up in court and is foolish if he takes the 551k hit.
Not sure I follow.
The NRL imposed the suspension.
The Dragons sacked him.
Two different items.
I’m sure the club would’ve sought legal advice before pulling the trigger in his contract.

Could be a good value signing and in a position we desperately need filling.

Can you imagine the media's reaction of us signing Vaughan vs Melbourne signing him.. ours would be a story about how desperate we are, how our club disregards bad behaviour, our terrible culture.... then if storm signed him it would be a redemption story, how Vaughan has paid his dues, how he will be a better player and person under bellamy. ... that being said who cares what they say about us. If the price is right, sign him up

I could look forward to watching this team play.
It looks a lot more inspiring to what we have now lol.

No, the Dragons sacked him mate, so he’s still got to find a club even after serving his suspension.

Can we offer him weekly payments and some sort of counselling program crap to get him on the cheap just so we have some better forwards lmao

Its not necessarily them pulling the contract or handing out a suspension.. I'd say It is the timing.

He can easily argue why he received a maximum from both whilst not being allowed to work. NRL will try to settle with the suspension being lifted/suspended though I can see the Dragons probably in shit because they sacked him AFTER the 8 game suspension was handed out knowing he couldn't get work elsewhere.

If the Bulldogs come in with a contract for Vaughan they would be doing everyone a favor and use the leverage.

Why should a new club pay the price for an indiscretion that was committed whilst playing for a rival club?

He obviously can't serve his sentence because he has been sacked so his sentence should be changed to a date on when he can return.
