I wonder if Panthers would win three peat if Paps was fit ? He was Clive Churchill in 2020 and has missed the finals of the past three seasons. People forgetting how good he was. Add him to our team and he's our best player ever game of the week.

Teddy and Edwards are still better from a NSW perspective. Papi is a X factor but he is no where near the yardage or defensive ability of those two. I would still say Panther do the three peat.

Unlike Gould who treats players as commodities and doesn’t think twice about breaking a contract, Bellamy rarely moves players on and places an extremely high value on loyalty. Paps would have his full support.

You think Bellamy would still be loyal if his side was anchored to the bottom year after year?

Make a good point.
History tells us Bellamy would not let any team under his stewardship sink to the depths we have achieved in recent years. He has done it for over a decade by, for the main part, sticking solid and not jettisoning players.
Gould certainly has different challenges facilitating change and turning around a shit show.

Would like to see Bellamycam if he had even half a season like ours. If Storm slide out of the 8 windex stocks are going up

No way... Remember when they were over the cap and had to shed Vete, Blair and Kasiano before the start of the season after just extending Drinkwater and Hughes. He keeps good players and sheds shit like everyone else. Keep in mind the above scenario occured the pre season after Slater retired, so Bellamy would have known they were near or over the cap.

He's trying to move on Olam who has been well below his best since his injury. He also released Will Chambers to Rugby who was becoming a defensive liability in 2019.

Let’s not forget when there was salary cap issues GI was the one that ended up taking the money at south’s and Salter, Smith and Cronk remained. He wouldn’t release a gun and he wouldn’t blood a rookie to a spine position.

His system has been successful for 20 years, so no way he’d shop around pap. But in saying that no harm throwing a few players at the storm to try make them consider it. Alamoti and Schoupp would have been perfect. But unfortunately both gone :p

You raise a fair point mate, but for mine, they should allow him to compete for his old position before shopping him around. If after the pre-season and trials he’s not the best option, then I think it’s fair game.
I understand it’s easy to say one more
Time as a fan. But as a club they’ve shown loyalty and he wants to keep a certain price like he’s a on the verge rep player. I can see how it’s not going to work out, great pick up for a another club

My friend deals cards at the Casino and player managers give him information sometimes when they sit on his table.
My friend is a Cowboys fan.
Makes sense actually.
I’ve seen Brad arthur at the poker tables there but never asked him about footy. Got intimidated.

Also what ethnicity is your Friend May I ask?

I highly doubT Brad would intimidate you. He is a genuine good soul.

Why would you need to be informed of this ethnicity ?
That's very odd.

He didn’t staunch me or nothing like that I just got stage fright when I realised who he is. Because he told everyone. I didn’t know what to say.

Just curious on your friends nash as he’s a cowboys supporter. Muddies the water a little.

Perplexed by the notion that you would need to require a person’s ethnicity for no explanation.
A little peculiar wouldn’t you agree?

No because I noticed most Cowboys supporters are from countries of the ex Soviet Union. Serbia. Russia, Czech etc. even ones born and bred in Lidcombe so was wondering
