Michael Carriyanis was the first to call for Gus to be probed for his comments - some stage last week.

Might make for awkward TV, considering they're both pundits on that show.. I think it's 100% footy?
Bump in ratings for NRLol360 aand 100% Footy :grinning:

This was posted Saturday and Buzz has been smashed online for running to the NRL like a little snitch. It’s a bit like the kennel haha

As the precedent has been set for May surely TBurgess will not have to serve his 2 match suspension until next season? Just like the Panther's fans with May I'm sure the Souths fans will want to see him play next week.

Plus of course May himself, Vlandys will just tack another game onto the 2 games he is already suspended for next year.

Is 100% Footy on, or will it be more milking the dead queen bullshit?

We get it, she was old and died at 96, it happens, nobody is shocked.

How has the precedent been set? One is off field discretion, the other is on field

So off field indiscretions are not as serious as on field ones? What sort of message is that to send?

Seriously though, I do think it’s a dangerous precedent, different type of suspension, or not.
Well the circumstances are different. He’s hit with a grade 1 off field incident. It’s different from grade 3 high tackle

I think half the Penrith team should be charged with grade 3 ridiculous haircuts. You have to think about the impact they are having on young kids.

A 2 games suspension for an off field incident is still the same as a 2 games suspension for an on field incident.
May gets to serve his 2 games suspension next year because the Penrith fans want him to play (according to Vlandys).
Why shouldn't Burgess expect to serve his 2 games suspension next year because the Souths fans want him to play.
What's the difference?

The difference is one was an off season incident ages ago and the other is an on field incident

Both get a 2 game suspension, same same.

May's ıs actually worse because he copped a fine as well.

It's also a bit illogical to say because one happened a year ago that it can be delayed even longer than one that happened yesterday. Surely time wise the oldest should be served first.
