I struggle with Thompson. He is a fullback playing on the wing. He is an obvious target because of his height and I'm concerned that we will lose a game because of it unless it's rectified.

Worst wingers in comp!!! Everyone been in thompsons pocket but warriors the first team to target him, I don't know how but they were!!! And the first time he gets bombed by a team consistently you get what he produced today!!!! How the hell other teams haven't targeted him with the high ball is beyond me

yeah they kept telling us he has pace, but today he was put in to a hole that 10 trucks could drive through manu was on the back foot and gave Thompson a head start and still ran him down in 10 meters FMD! (not to mention his poor effort with the warriors first try & Brown has feet for hands....our wingers give me ulcers and will send me to an early grave

We must be watching Different games! Because our wingers have no idea, sorry to say. Mitch brown worries me and Corey Thompson is too short, and slow, didn't see him use his speed!! Both our wingers are bad under the high ball... This is why our NSW CUP wingers have given up because, they see our FG Wingers playing sh!t.. Which don't give our Nsw cup wingers a chance!!!

I disagree that our wingers are bad under the high ball. Mitch Brown the majority of the time always out-leaps his opposing winger. No winger is going to catch-em-all (Who can guess where that's from? lol).

Thompson on the other hand is still learning his trade in first grade and has gotten better every game.

Giving up is being lazy... at the least they should keep playing at their best so another club can pick them up. You ever think maybe their attitude is just not good enough?

I didn't say we had an obvious solution, or someone at least putting his/their hand up.
What is evident is how much he is being targeted with the high ball!
Sooner or later it will cost us.......you would think there would be someone putting their hand up in NSW Cup but this is clearly not the case. It is however, hard to see Inu doing a worse job IMO.

I just think we are trying our hardest to make Thompson a winger and he just isn't one, he came to us as a specialist fullback.

He reminds me of Barba (under the high ball) Thought it was a throw back to yesteryear with letting the ball bounce.

One of the main reasons in miss inu. That guy could catch a cold in Dubai. Even idris was a machine with the bombs both in attack and defence. Hopefully Thompson can improve if he is to be a first grade mainstay.
