Something like ....

Take top three prizemoney winners
Add up last four runs (0 counts as ten - ie: 4,3,6,0 = 23)
Add "5" if the horse has 50% distance place-record.
Add "5" if the horse has 50% track place-record.
Add "1" for each kilo down in weight on last run.

Highest score wins.

Thinking behind this is higher prizemoney earners are trained to win every prep, and if form/results has been not quite there (Poor barriers / Wet / Bias), odds can blow out while trainer persists with campaign.

I've seen ones like that where the trainers and jockeys also have a bearing on it...

I haven't got them yet but may get them tonight (or even tomorrow). I'm off to Vanuatu today so not sure if I can get online.

I got a tip from the owner of a horse called Theophorus. She said (her brother is the owner) that they are aiming it for the Villiers (they are from Mudgee) in a few weeks and I noticed its running tomorrow at about $7. Its racing against another horse I tipped in here two weeks ago Causeycan (which won).

Rubinda (horse I also tipped for a win a few weeks ago) is running again tomorrow. Should go close again with the 3kg claim from Dubbo's Kody Nestor.

Tip received - Charming Rogue R7 at Doomben.
