Okunbor burst onto the scene as a winger who could deliver huge impact. Unfortunately faded and errors crept into his game. If he can come back and find some form could make a difference. He won’t be anything more than a depth signing considering the new players coming in for next year though.

Who's making metres for us next season in our back 3? Dufty, JAC and a sideways running Cotric isn't exactly ideal imo.

Just for comparison Okunbor averages more metres per game that our two wingers combined last week against the Roosters...Okunbor will be a massive help

This week we should be playing:

1. Meaney
2. Manu/Heleta (gotta start giving these blokes a go to determine who we sign on min wage next year)
3. Allen
4. Schoupp
5. Ok

The reason our forwards hurt so bad is because our outside backs start our sets off so poorly and they are fighting an uphill battle once they get involved.. look at momentum tupou created for the Roosters at the start of their sets..

Yep, first hit up for the Panthers is To'o. Massive momentum at the start of the set. He sometimes even takes another one at tackle 3 if the forwards aren't back yet. He is a machine!
Okonbur is the closest thing we have to that. I could see him take the first, then Shoupp take the second with a bit of momentum. Cotric then can make a few tackle busts and we're on our way :-) although i'm lost at the 4th tackle because Tolman isn't there for a settler anymore (sigh).

Look at NSW when we pumped QLD, early game the backs were taking a lot of the carries and the forwards were focused on defence and suffocated QLD. I was concerned before the first game when I saw that our pack was lacking punch in attack but it made complete sense one the game got going. I suppose it does help having Tom, To'o and Teddy in the backline, they can carry the ball through the middle better than most props lol. Point still stands tough, just probably not the same extent.

Look forward to seeing how he goes, and be a good boy and keep your dick in your pants.

Still hoping Cotric gets a run in right centre freeing up that wing spot.

Dufty
JAC
Shoupp/Naden/Allen/Alamoti
Cotric
Okunbor

Very diverse backline....

Geez I am not convinced with cotric as a centre, big money on a winger when should have been happy with jac and okunbor.

Okunbor would be a good 14. Or 18. With 14 could cover back row. Also center or wing. Same time if a team is kicking us out the game. He can do the strong carry’s out our half given the forwards A rest. At 18 with concussion could play forwards or backs.
my thought only

Okunbor:
160 running meters per game
80% tackle efficiency
1 line break per game
0.46 tries per game

Naden:
113 running meters per game
75% tackle efficiency
0.4 line breaks per game
0.64 tries per game

we need to put some respect on Okunbors name. He should already be signed

Allen and Shoupp centres Okunbor on the wing. Hoppa . . . Tell your story walkin mate. He'd be a good influence on the young Polynesian guys, Hopefully he can take Katoa and Crichton for company

Hopefully he comes back exactly like the way he was playing last year before he got injured.
We’ve missed his strong reckons and finishing
