Hope it's true but can't see Grant or B Smith leaving the Storm. Can't see Api leaving the Panthers (I think he's contracted til the end of 2022 also). Can't see the Dragons releasing their captain in McInnes. Seems our only hope is Daryl Clarke who does look okay.
 
I mentioned Brian Kelly like a week ago. It was just a random guess.

Hopefully it's a done deal. He's a good player. Has a error in his game but can break the line.

Personally I can't see both BSmith and Grant staying with Melbourne;
  1. They both want to be Melbourne's hooker, long term.
  2. They both can't be Melbourne's hooker, short or long term.
  3. They both want to be representative (SOO, Oz and NZ respectively) hookers.
  4. It's hard to win representative honours in a specialised position if you are not playing/demonstrating it week in week out.
  5. They are both currently grossly underpaid.
  6. They both want NRL hooker value contracts, long term.
  7. They both (plenty of players want but they actually) deserve hooker value contracts, long term.
  8. Next year is Bellamy's last year as head coach (according to Bellamy).

I am aware of who he is but I've never really noticed him before since I don't watch Manly or Titans games so I have no opinion of him. Baz said he wants speed in the backline so I assume he's quick.

TBH I just want it to be a done deal as that means Dexter35 was right which hopefully means the spine player we've already signed is Burton. On top of that if we do get a top hooker in 22, we'll make the top 4 and (sports) life will be good again.

If we do get burton then that's a different story. Might not even get burton until 22 aswell

We will have to see. Hopefully avo does get a crack at fb. Might need to work on his communication though. Baz said fb is more than just having speed they need to communicate from the back. If avo can sort all that out he should get first crack at the back
