I think this gets messy. The Bulldogs announced he was signed, that will effect other clubs making him offers, then they sack him and say it wasn't a binding contract. It's contract law 101.

I guess the idea is that the case won't commence until after the Bulldogs vote, so it won't come out by then.

How can anyone comment on it without seeing the actual contract?
