id agree with that but dosnt mean nsw is going to destroy them. napa, wallace and mcguire are more then capable of taking it to the middle forwards and love the tough stuff

Wallace is QLD's only prop averaging more then 100m, Napa hasn't got any plodders to put a hit on

The problem with this line of thought is who are you taking off to put Ponga on?

Slater is the best fullback the game has seen in the last 30 years so it won't be him. So who? He's not an Origin half, and he'd be a midget on the wing.

If the score is 2-0 to NSW going into game 3, I'd probably blood him but until then, no.

Ponga isnt ready for Origin, he is electric yes but would be found out in Defense. I dont watch all the Knights games but I cant remember too many tries that he's stopped.
In a few years he will be thre for many years to come.

I don’t see the point of having a specialist fullback on the bench. It was silly when qld chucked Bowen on the bench and it’s just as silly now.

Morgan is a better bet playing 6 or 7 in an Origin match. Ponga hasn't even played in the halves at club level.

Again, lets leave Ponga till 2019- or at least till game 3 (if it is 2-0 to NSW).
