Being the incumbent captain and pretty consistent for his entire career affords Cordner some loyalty, no?

Yeah but Jackson has outplayed him at origin yet gets none. I just don’t think you can have loyalty for one and not for the other guys. Still I like the majority of the squad.

The problem being that he's in competition with Frizell and Trbojevic who he hasn't outplayed. He should be in the squad as a show of respect

Yeah I know and agree. I just thought he should have been in the squad when you consider he’s been pretty good at Origin and frankly he outplays Cordner most days.
